Little Edie’s exclamation in the Grey Gardens musical, “Where did all my hair go?” epitomises the state of this blog and the blog author perfectly, although perhaps in the blog author’s case it should be paraphrased to, “Where did all my I go?”

Beautiful, bold, depressed, euphoric, dissociative, crazy, middle-aged (almost), changeable, elegant, working-class bevan, numb, fanciful, dog lover, wife are all words that can describe the body that the author inhabits. Now if she could just pick a name out of the abundance that inhabits the body, then things could scarily become coherent around here.
